About Me

As a collge student, I spent most of my summers traveling around different parts of the world. In 2013 I cycled across much of northern and eastern Europe and in 2014 I hitchhiked from Paris in France to Tehran in Iran.

In 2015, I decided to embark on a much more ambitious adventure, that of cycling across all continental countries of the Americas, from Deadhorse in Alaska, to the southern tip of Argentina. After completing this adventure in 2018, I was named European Adventurer of the Year.

In March 2020 I embarked on a new adventure in New Zealand, where I ended up getting stuck due to the coronavirus pandemic and started walking, paddling and cycling the length of the country.

Between October 2021 and February of 2023 I cycled 11,238 km on a recumbent trike across Australia, exploring some of the most remote parts of the red continent.

Now I got an even more ambitious plan, that of traversing walking, cycling and paddling 10 of the largest and wildest islands in the world. The 10 islands are: Tasmania, New Guinea, Terre Grande (New Caledonia), Borneo, Madagascar, Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, Vancouver Island, Iceland, Greenland and Baffin Island.

PHILOSOPHY

Realising that we are the creators of our own experience - the happiness and the suffering - is the beginning of wisdom and the beginning of growing up.
