Overview
About Me
I'm 29, married to my best friend and loving life!
I'm generally a very relaxed guy, nerdy, tech savvy, moderately liberal, not religious, and always up for a good conversation or discussion.
My wife Sarah (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/saraheklund) and I both grew up in Idaho, attended university at The University of Idaho, moved to Memphis TN, travelled Europe and Asia for 14 months, and have been living in Seattle since October 2015.
You can see some information and pictures from our travels here:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet cool people, help travelers, learn about other cultures and have fun.
Sarah and I started hosting in Memphis, then surfed all over Europe and Asia. Now we're settled in Seattle and excited to start hosting again.
We LOVE couchsurfing. Many of our most memorable experiences traveling came through couchsurfing. It actually got to the point that we didn't consider ourselves to have really experienced the culture of a place unless we had surfed with at least one host there. Every big city has museums and parks and famous landmarks, but to find the best bits of a city you need to hang out with a local! Plus, you make new friends and meet other cool, friendly, kind and open minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading, science fiction and fantasy are favorites of mine, though I branch out into various other forms of fiction and occasionally non-fiction.
I'm open to most kinds of music, though not big on rap.
Movies and TV - Hm, lots of things...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking through the Actun Tunichil Muknal cave in Belize.
Hiking up Mt. Rinjani in Indonesia.
Scuba diving a shipwreck.
Eating olives while looking over the fields they came from in Greece.
Roasting marshmallows over the fires of Chimaera in Turkey.
Sitting amongst the clouds in the Swiss Alps.
...
And so much more! Ask me for a story when we're hanging out. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love baking, cooking, pizza making and would be happy to teach someone how! Or if you want to learn to brew beer I can teach you that too!
I'm always up to learn something new.
