About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To show surfers the sights of London, meet new people and prepare for my travels next year
ABOUT ME
I currently live in the vibrant and never-boring Shoreditch in East London with my boyfriend, (https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/adamnm/)
housemate and two cats. I work as an editor at a media company and am obsessed with all things craft! In my spare time I adore baking, knitting, crocheting - basically making anything! I also love reading and cinema.
I like to think of myself as a lively, funny and bright person who will only help to make your couchsurfing experience better!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I am able to host those looking to stay in East London. As I work nights I usually have time in the day to help out, give advice or show anyone around who wants to take in the sights of London.
I believe that couchsurfing is about cultural exchange rather than just finding a place to stay. For me, it's important that couchsurfers are willing to share their culture and knowledge perhaps thought cooking for the house or having a beer with us in exchange for our hospitality, advice and guidance around the city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have only couch surfed once in Athens, had a wonderful and and am excited to meet more people and help them experience couchsurfing.
Interests
My interests are film -obviously. Anything from mainstream blockbusters to world cinema. Making to watching to reviewing.
Reading and writing. Fan of the classics as well as few more 'modern' authors. I write for an online magazine called 'Ribbed Magazine' - Google it. I'm part of the film team.
Yoga and running (not so much an interest and I force myself to do it)
Cooking - I enjoy it, not so sure I'm any good but I'm willing to knock something up for any hosts.
