About Me

I used to be a very avid member of this website as you can see from my references.

Since moving back to Connecticut from SF/Australia in 2014ish I don't do as much CSing as I used to but you can still find me at CT meetups.

Anyway I'm still friendly, still enjoy nature and good people, but now I have an awesome mustache.

That is all.

Interests

Friendly people, the absurdity of life, cats, mac and cheese, avocados, tennis, hacky sack, black comedy, laughing!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Fight Club. Vanilla Sky. Rules of Attraction. Se7en. Twelve Monkeys. Kung Fu Hustle. Outlaw Josey Wales. Up. Wall-E. Clerks 2. Watchmen. BACK TO THE FUTURE. Neverending Story...

Music: So many so many. Currently started listening to Said the Whale and Fang Island. Saves the Day and the Weakerthans will always be to of my favorite bands. Death Cab for Cutie...Johnny Hobo...

BOOKS: Ahhh books books books...I absolutely love reading and it sucks that my life gets so hectic sometimes (well I make it so hectic) that I forget to just chill out and lose myself in a good book. SCI-FI and FANTASY are definitely my genres of choice. Some that come to mind...

-A Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones!)
-Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Except for the FIFTH and final book of the series. FORGET THAT BOOK.
-DISCWORLD by TERRY PRATCHETT. This guy is brilliant.
-DARK TOWER series by Stephen King.
-Ray Bradbury!!! Martian Chronicles was my favorite book growing up.
-The numerous collections and anthologies of short stories I've read over the years. Pick up the yearly collection of Hugo Winners from any year and it's amazing.
-CALVIN AND HOBBES and FARSIDE. They both really affected me growing up. Incredible.
