ABOUT ME

Hi guys! I would describe myself as an hyperactive guy, especially when I'm travelling or organising a trip.
Also, I'm a young French man and I've begun to "seriously" travel in 2011. I mean, it was not the first time I was going abroad, but it was the first time I truly made the most of every single second of my trip !
Since that moment, I consider that a good journey is a mix between meeting people and sharing experiences / learning as much as possible about a new country and a new culture / taking plenty of good pictures / coming back to home with the head full of great memories and at least two or three new travel projects :-)
Since that moment, I also cannot stop travelling and making new travel plans. :-P

PHILOSOPHY

Once when I was CouchSurfing in Cairns in Australia, my host said me "We're 8 billion on this Planet ; that makes 8 billion different stories" (what a punchline !) And himself had plenty of AMAZING ones ! Since that moment, I have began to pay more attention to what people tell me. I think everybody can learn you something, especially people different from you.
Also, I believe that life is just boring if you stay at home forever. So much to see in this world, so much people to meet and so much stories to hear !! All you have to do is motivate yourself...so let's go !

Mmmmh... Don't really know.. I'm a very easy going person, and I can adapt myself to a lot of people...as long as they don't try to kill / rape me :-) I really love sharing my adventures tales and if you begin to talk to me about your trips around the world (or even not so far), be ready to be asked a lot of passionate questions ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've CouchSurfed from 3 years now, and I must say I'm quite happy with that. At the beginning I surfed occasionally, but now it has become something automatic each time I travel. I've surfed at young people's, old people's, rich people's, poorer people's... I've also surfed at a nudist place not far from the Empire State Building in New-York, in a tall building in the madness of Dubai, in some tiny and pretty flat in Naples... As a French guy, I've mostly Surfed in European countries (Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland...) but also in the US, United Arab Emirates, Australia, New-Zealand...

兴趣

I'm very in fond in music. I used to make some, but (unfortunately ?) my never ending travels and my overbooked schedule don't let me the time for that anymore. However, when I've a bit a free time after a long and exhausted day, I like to watch movies. Peplum are my favourites, but I also like biopics, historical movies, and...how do you call that...you know, all that modern stories about terrorism / complots and stuff in Iraq, Iran, Africa...when the guy is always a veteran of the CIA, a bit disturbed in his head etc etc... Oh, and my favourite movie(s) ever, my Bible, are and will always be the Lord of the Rings (plus the books of course !) Actually, I'm pretty sure this story has something to see with my big love for travelling around the world, in not always safe places.
One of my passion is also photography (especially since I've begun to travel). I love taking a lot of pictures during my adventures, and spending time classify them and work them back to home.
Finally, writing trip tales take most of my time when I'm not travelling. At the beginning, they were just short diaries ; now they are big and never-endings novels full of stories and anecdotes. For me they are almost pieces of art, and they motivate me to do more and more crazy stuff when I'm abroad :-P

音乐、电影和书籍

As I said I'm just crazy about the Lord of the Rings / Hobbits (books and movies). I also like cinema (peplum, biopics, superhero movies, historical movies...), especially when movies feature Robin Williams, Tom Hanks, Russell Crowe... I really like Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan and Danny Boyle, David Fincher...and what is better than a massive and epic Spielberg cinematographic fresco ?! :-P
I listen to a lot of electronic music like new-disco, electro rock, house, pop music... As famous bands, I used to listen Justice, Daft Punk, and Phoenix until becoming mad ; but now I'm more into stuff like Jupiter, Gigamesh, Digitalism, Alan Braxe, Darius or Lifelike... Another kind of music I like to listen to is soundtrack of movies. My favourites composers are Hans Zimmer, James Horner, Danny Elfman, Howard Shore...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most incredible thing I ever done in my life was a balloon tour in Egypt ; above the Valley of the Kings and the Nile. Imagine a sunrise on the desert, the longest river in Africa becoming red and orange, plenty of pharaohs tombs hidden in the dunes 300 meters under your feet and all the mosques 'songs of the valley echoing in your ears... Just incredible.
Dining with Bedouins and riding a donkey just beside the void at the top of a cliff, in the mountains behind Petra in Jordan, was also an interesting experience !
And what about Midnight Sun in the far North of Norway, which finally decided to struggle against clouds and fog after I had totally lost any hopes to see it :-)
Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia was good too, and crossing the Atlas mountains from Marrakech to Ouarzazate in Morocco, and climbing at the Top of the Rock in New-York to see the sunset on the Empire State Building, and this Turkish Bath during an evening of spring in Istanbul after a full day of walk, and visiting Hobbiton movie set in New-Zealand, and climbing at the top of Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest building in the world... And more and more to come ;-)

I can teach you some French of course, as it's my mother tongue. Slangs or serious French ; it's up to you guys ! I also know how to cook some simple but good French food (just don't ask me for snails, I'm totally unable to prepare that)
And of course, if you ask me about travel tips about places I've been to, I'd be glad to answer you as precisely as possible ;-) As I like my French culture, it's always a pleasure for me to give advice to people who want to go there too.
