About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To not let more than 2 months pass without traveling somewhere outside of my city.

ABOUT ME

I am constantly seeking new experiences and love meeting new people. I work for a startup in Chicago founded by my older sister, and I own a documentary film company that specializes in personal biographies of older adults, created for posterity and financed independently by families.

I used to work as a food tour guide in Chicago, where I developed my passion for food, feeding people and making new friends. I recently returned from a trip around the world with my good friend Meghan and met so many amazing CS friends along the way. Now that I'm back in Chicago, I'm hosting my own surfers and trying repay the favor.

PHILOSOPHY

I am only unhappy when I find myself uninspired. When this occurs, I change something and make sure to find people and places that stimulate me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The biggest smiles I've ever seen were when a friend of mine in Haiti gave a ride home from school to a group of boys about 9 years old who would've had to walk about 1.5 hrs up a mountain to get home otherwise. I couldn't believe how something so simple could make anyone so happy. It was a perspective shifting moment.
