About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Use my skills for the humanitarian and development aid sector
ABOUT ME
- I come from a small island in the Indian Ocean that barely anyone knows. So for me the world has no borders and all I need is to reach out to the world.
- I love to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds. I learn from people and they make me who I am today
- I like spontaneity and when people are driven by guts. Life is short so we should enjoy it to the fullest. Carpe diem!
- I love traveling but my roots and my family are more important than anything. Never forget where you come from...
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe diem! Life is short...
" When it's dark enough you can see the stars" (Emerson)
Interests
- Traveling. The world is small so we should not be scared of the Unknown.
- I love writing especially about my travels. My dream is to publish a book one day...
- I am interested in social change and empowerement. I'd like to be part of a meaningful cause
- I love Art : photography, Fine arts, movies and music from all the world- on my laptop I have Bollywood songs, Italian opera, Korean pop, bachata, African songs, French music and even Mongolian RNB!
- I like languages. I speak English, Chinese mandarin (after living 6 years in China), Spanish (after 2 years in Latin America), German, Portuguese and Italian. So I try to read books and watch movies in original version

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I've lived 6 years in China. And I survived Chinese toilets- with sometimes no paper, no flush, no doors or even no wall at all!
- I've worked for 2 Olympic Games- Beijing 2008 and London 2012 (looking forward to work for Rio 2016). I've been lucky enough to attend both Opening and Closing ceremonies!
- I've seen a volcano eruption on my island (Reunion)and I was standing 1 meter from rivers of lava. It lasted around 5 months and it's one of the longest eruptions in history :)
- I've backpacked one year in Latin America
Teach, Learn, Share
- I am a first aid monitor
