ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing and fun loving person that loves to travel and meet new people. I am really easy going and get along with most people. I just graduated from GVSU and am starting to work on the CPA. I enjoy most aspects of business and have a passion for real estate. While I do enjoy the big city's I also have stayed close to my outdoor roots that I grew up with. I love backpacking, canoeing, swimming, and exploring new places. I enjoy learning new things through experiences with others.

I grew up with three brothers, all close in age. While we are all spread out across the country, we still maintain close relationships. I am recently a proud father and have a have a beautiful daughter. I have been very fortunate growing up and try not to take anything for granted. I hope this helps!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, my girlfriend will not let me host travelers since there is a baby in our house. I know Grand Rapids, MI pretty well and would love to show any surfers around or have you over for a bon fire, if our schedules allow. I would love to start traveling more and can't wait to meet some of you.

As for now, I would love to meet other surfers around me and start to build my profile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only experiences I have with couch surfing is through my older brother. He has been sharing his wonderful experiences over the years with me and has finally gotten me to join.

Okay so I'm getting tired of typing, so here is a list: Beaches, camping, Bon fires, canoeing, reading, movies, biking, learning, food, skiing/snowboarding, golfing, hiking, indulging in conversations, meeting people, smiling, creating and building businesses, real estate, problem solving, walking, snuggling with my baby, and much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am musically confused. I pretty much listen to what others put in front of me. If it wasn't for my littlest brother I would still be listening to the same bands I grew up with; like Third Eye Blind, Eve 6, Goo Goo Dolls and all other 90's music. To be honest I enjoy listening to music a lot but don't go out of my way to find new stuff. I stick with what works.

Movies: Shawshank, born identities, the history channel, oceans, the classics and really anything but dumb humor.

Books: I mostly read non fiction books about various business topics. Though, I do enjoy reading some of the well written classics and books like 'The Giver' or '1984'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say the most amazing thing I have accomplished is trying to be the best father I can be and still try to juggle everything else I want to accomplish.
