ABOUT ME

I'm an introverted, deep thinker. Very low-maintenance, an everything-goes kind of guy. At the same time, once I warm up to others, I'm humorous and outgoing.

Interessen

I love writing - it's my life. I'm pursuing a (possible) career in journalism, specifically editorial and news journalism (esp. of the foreign variety... I have a fascination with the Middle East, Latin America and Africa).

Aside from writing, I love music, culture, the Internet, news, politics, law... I'm very easily fascinated and engaged by education. I love learning.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went on a week-long immersion and service trip to Guatemala in the spring of 2012. It really opened my eyes to the world around me; it's informed my education. Basically, I loved every minute of it.

At 16, I interviewed the author of Wicked, Gregory Maguire, via email. The Wizard of Oz, and all offshoots, are one of my many passions.
