About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm a 23yr old entrepreneur from Florida. I went the the University of Florida (go gators), studied finance/entrepreneurship/communications, and moved to NYC for a year to cut my teeth in corporate finance. I'm making a move back to projects that drive me and am and currently following my passions to Israel! I will be there about 7 months working on/studying social entrepreneurship (specifically microfinance) in the northern Galilee Region. I haven't traveled a huge amount in my life so far so I am taking the next couple years (at least) to make this a larger part of my life and see what I learn.

I believe in doing right by yourself and for others. The rest will fall into place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-hustled my way onto a business trip to shenzchen, china. visited factories for 2 weeks and watched a product (speakers) being made, pilot production to final. Was eye opening in many ways: truly seeing what goes into putting something on your shelf (new appreciation), the ethical/life style issues for workers, learning business customs, amazing food, and learning that 'gamba' in Cantonese means 'chug till you finish'.

-Taiwan: I was there for a holiday (I believe something to do with ghosts?) and the wife of who I was staying with (extended family), whom I couldn't speak with at all, took me on her scooter to the temple. there were gifts all over the street for the g-ds, burning of paper money in the street, embalmed pigs laying at the entrance to the temple, and we went around to different areas and lit incense type candles. Still not sure why, but it was a great experience.

-volcano/mountains in Costa Rica. Growing up on Florida where it is completely flat, that is a big game changer. beautiful.
