ABOUT ME

Born in Hong Kong, I am open to other culture and too eager to go abroad for a completely different cultural experience by meeting various kind of people! I just finished my bachelor degree in Hong Kong with my third year abroad as an exchange student in Strasbourg. I'm currently studying in translation at Montpellier

Travelling is not just simply a way to explore other culture but also a journey to understand yourself better. Besides, there's a popular saying in Chinese "why not travel a thousand miles instead of reading a thousand books"!

Née à Hong Kong, je suis très ouverte à d'autres cultures et j'aimerais rencontrer des gens. Je viens de finir ma licence à Hong Kong et avant j'ai passé un an à Strasbourg en tant qu'étudiante d'échange. Maintenant je commence à étudier la traduction à Montpellier.

L'idée de voyager n'est pas simplement un moyen d'explorer d'autres cultures mais aussi de mieux se connaître. D'ailleurs, on dit que "pourquoi pas marcher un millier de miles au lieu de lire un millier de livres" en chinois!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have seen some of my friends having really great CS experience and I have heard of this site for quite a long time. The idea of meeting the locals captivates me the most. I strongly believe that travelling is not just visiting all the famous attractions listed in a guide book but also opening yourself to another world and discover different sides of a city via meeting people.

Pendant le voyage au nord de la France (octobre 2012), j'ai eu de la chance de rencontrer beaucoup d'hôtes sympathiques et ca m'intéresse plus de faire des échanges avec les autres!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Russia for 2 weeks to experience the incredible Orthodox culture and to enjoy the stunning scenery. It's always my dream to go there at least once in my life
