ABOUT ME

I am a passionate person with interests and knowledge of a bit of everything. I love talking, mixing and socializing with people. I am a dedicated couchsurfer and I do take my time to show my guests around my hometown, therefore I would only like to welcome equally dedicated couchsurfers like myself.

PHILOSOPHY

I pass knowledge to young minds; in the same I keep learning new things and improving myself by meeting different people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Let's get things right before we move on. I think the meaning of couchsurfing is not for people to look for free stay, but for cultural exchange. If you are not up for it. Please skip this part. Once you are my guest, you will be recognised and included in my circle of friends. Make sure you have enough rest or you won't be able to keep up with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I live in a very small apartment. I have one guest bed room but it is a bunk bed (aka. captain's bed). You have to be adventurous enough to climb up there to sleep. It is a nice thing to experience such boxy environment in Hong Kong, like a regular Hong Kong inhabitant.
Also, I would like to host people for more than one day so that we get to know one another in a more profound way. If you do show up at my apartment, do bring a bottle of something. I think that's a token of friendship, right? And please refrain from from spending your time sleeping your day through as it shows a sign of tardiness to me.
So far, I have had over 30 guests and they have been very interested in local history and culture. I also like to take my guests to local restaurants and shops to experience something that is never listed in travel books. If a guest happens to stay over the weekend, I would certainly introduce them to my parents for weekend dim sum. If you have other friends who you want to meet whilst staying at my place; please specify prior coming to my place as I would've things organised beforehand. I do find un~notified plans an offence (i.e. not staying at my place while putting youth luggage at my place).
