ABOUT US

We are two brazilian civil engineers, 25 & 26 years old, both currently enrolled in a master program at USC (Los Angeles). I (Carol) am studying Water and Waste Management and Gustavo (my fiance) is studying Construction Engineering. We will be living in US for two years, from 2014 to 2016.
One of our lives goals is to travel around the whole world. We love traveling and backpacking, hiking, camping and being close to nature - and dogs! We love dogs so much it hurts!
We are calm and peaceful - not too much the party guys - and we enjoy making friends and getting to know people and share experiences. We are also very cooperative and respectful, so hosting us will never be a problem.

We enjoy all kinds of good music, but we have a special thing for rock and roll, jazz & blues.
I (Carol) enjoy fantasy and fiction books and movies, like Lord of the Rings and The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxies (my favorite ones).
Gustavo enjoys the authors Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, Myamoto Musashi, and others.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Our trip through South America was one of the most amazing things we've done together, specially climbing the Huayna Picchu and having a stunning view from Macchu Picchu.
