About Me

CURRENT MISSION

On a journey through South America with my partner Saskia.

ABOUT ME

After many years dreaming about travelling to South America, my partner and I finally decided that if it was going to happen, we had to do it now. We quit our jobs, packed up our house, said goodbye to family and friends in Australia and New Zealand, and left in search of adventure!
We are a relaxed, happy couple, and are easily pleased. We are looking to meet some new and interesting people who can enrich our travel experience, as we have always found that knowing locals makes visiting a place so much more fun!

PHILOSOPHY

Work out what you want to do, and then do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are currently travelling and are looking to meet new people and to get to know locals, rather than just hanging out in hostels with other travellers.
When we settle down somewhere, we will of course love to return the favour and host people ourselves!

Also just read 'In Patagonia' by Bruce Chatwin, which is a famous travel book from the 1970s.
