ABOUT ME

I like to travel and see new things. I usually don't like things to stay the same for too long. I am a nursel; I work on a surgical acute floor, which is for patients coming out of surgery after leaving recovery. I will probably be a career student on the side, for the rest of my life. I can be wild and crazy--I also tend to be very opinionated and do not usually keep these opinions to myself. My friends describe me as funny, abrasive, and silly. I enjoy meeting new people and talking about pretty much anything. One of my favorite things to do while traveling in a foreign country, where I don't speak the language, is to order something at a restaurant without knowing what I ordered. And above all else, I enjoy laughing!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to do what you want--only you can make yourself happy--and not to live according to anyone elses opinions. Always remember to have fun and laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to couchsurfing, and can only hang out with people as of now. In the future I would like to offer my couch for surfers.

Interests

I like to: barhop and drink; to dance; to laugh; to explore muesums and castles (they are my favorite!); to learn (pretty much anything); to read; to try new foods; and to get lost and explore the places I find.
I love hockey--I am convinced it is the greatest sport known to man. I also love playing and learning new card games, so I always travel with a pack of cards.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will read just about anything--except Fifty Shades of Grey!! Blah. I don't have any favorite genre; I tend to select books based on how much I like the coverart XD.

I love Disney movies, and I always will, no matter how old I become. Tangled is my favorite. But I also watch other movies. Some other favorites include, The Avengers, Stepbrothers, Men in Black, etc. Next to Tangled, I love Indiana Jones movies.

I listen to all types of music, except jazz. My favorite bands are, The Used and The Hushsound.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went buggie jumping when I was in high school. It was terrifying XD

I have been snorkeling with rays before and it was awesome.

My most awestruck moment, that occurred while traveling abroad, was seeing the inside of the Dresden Frauenkirche.

Teach, Learn, Share

For people visiting the South Jersey area, things they could and maybe should see, include: Lucy the Elephant; the boardwalks (which are obviously best in the summer); Bastso (good for hiking and kayaking); the different bars and restaurants; loads of shopping; and of course a trip over to Philly :). Because I grew up in the woods, I know some of the older, smaller churchs, buildings, etc.

My main knowledge base would be English, medicine, and Holocaust and Genocide studies--with a focus on medical ethics in American
