Hi I'm Lucy!

I lived the barefoot life for about 5 years and returned to Australia at the end of 2016 to return to study. (I can't believe it's been over 5 years back already!) I miss the daily adventures of my travel days, but I love growing roots and seeing the benefits of my hard work pay off.

I just moved to Brisbane where I live with my partner Aiden. We have a spare room with a bed and you'd basically have a bathroom to yourself. We also have a border collie named Maya who will follow you around and ask for pats constantly.

The public transport to our place isn't fantastic, just a bus, so better if you have a car or you don't mind waiting for a bus.

We are a busy working couple so our place is probably better suited to independent travellers who just need a shower and a place to sleep for a night or two. We mightn't have much time to socialise and understand after being on the road you might just want some space to yourself too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing was my lifeline when I was on the road. Most of my best friends have come from this platform. I love that hosting keeps me connected to the community.
