About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Go, Do, See, Eat, Grow, Change. All at once and in a hurry!
ABOUT ME
Hello! Twenty three year old, single American female. I'm quite a boring person, but as is often true of bores you'll find me polite, unobtrusive, and tidy.
PHILOSOPHY
Never complain, never explain.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm eternally grateful to have been able to warm many a couch all over the United States and Australia, and have always kept my own door wide open (though often as not I've lived places no one was too keen to visit, haha.) Can't wait to get involved with the couchsurfing.org community!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My all time favorite couchsurfing experience was on a lovely futon in Kingman, Arizona for a night on my first cross country road trip from Atlanta to Las Vegas with my dear, long suffering friends L+C.
Interests
Eating, cooking, reading, needlework, shooting sports, sewing, motoring, staring at cars dreaming of motoring in them, and furniture restoration.

Favorite books, fiction: The Fountainhead, Archer series by Ross Macdonald
Favorite books, non-fiction: Dale Carnegie's Lifetime Plan For Success, The Prince, and all memoirs. I love memoirs.
Favorite musical acts: Leonard Cohen, The Who, T.I.
Favorite play (and playwright): The Night of the Iguana
Favorite musical: Sweeney Todd
Favorite artists: Andrew Wyeth, Hopper
Note: I will either have a full-body seizure or freeze when asked to name a favorite anything, so this list is neither complete OR necessarily accurate. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rescued (stole) a rotting chair from a deconsecrated post office on Route 66. It was the first piece of furniture I ever restored and now the logo for my business.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: English, cooking, crochet, sporting clays
Learn: Absolutely anything. I know very little and want desperately to learn as much as possible. Of everything.
Share: Does swapping book, film, and music recommendations count? Cooking for other people is a great joy to me and so is exchanging letters.
