About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live life to the fullest with the time we're given. It's too short to waste the precious moments.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel! There is so much to see of the world and such little time in one life - best get on it while I can. I've currently postponed serious life in favour of seeing more of this wonderful world - heading to Oz for a year or so starting in December 2012. Would love to meet some good friends out there and see the sites through the eyes of the locals.
I'm a very easy going person who loves to laugh and generally will at the smallest things - life is too short to be glum! I'd consider myself to be fun and outgoing, I'm happy being out and about at night but also being inside having a quiet night in with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short for sadness, to hold grudges and to have regrets. Start living and enjoy each day that comes your way! It's an adventure!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Very new to Couch Surfing, but looking to surf while I'm away on my travels around Oz, to meet some locals and hopefully make some life long friends. I'd love to return the favour when I find a settled destination - be it back in Scotland when I return, or somewhere on my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but heard some incredible things from friends who have surfed and hosted.

Interests

I love to read, listen to music, travel and meet new people. I love seeing how cultures differ from my own. I like to appreciate the smaller things in life that may too often go unnoticed.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh gosh, too many to name here and to have to limit to a list. I have a very eclectic taste and always up for seeing, listening to, and reading something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming home to Foyers (my wee home village, half way down Loch Ness in Scotland) and seeing the foot of the Loch and the entire length of it stretch out in front of me. No place like home!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
