About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expand my mindset and gain insight into other cultures (including local subsets of American culture).
ABOUT ME
23 years old, dreamer, schemer, and whole-hearted believer in finding solace in the outdoors. Growing up in California, I've realized how spoiled I am with beautiful views and wonderful people. I try to live with a "try anything once" attitude, and thus far, it's served me well.
I'm currently working as a seasonal firefighter and therefore have 6 months off a year. Time to play, travel, and do everything I don't get a chance to do while I'm working.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everywhere I've traveled, I've been privileged to see amazing thunderstorms. When I backpacked through Italy, we spent a day sitting on the porch of our hostel while sipping wine and watching the rain play over the mountains. While in New Zealand, we sat on top of our campervan and watched lightning flicker over the forest. In Peru, it was every night in Cusco. As soon as the sun set, we'd run back up the hills to our hostel, snuggle down in the sunroom overlooking the city, and watch fantastic displays of lightning and thunder.
No matter how homesick you feel, there's nothing like a good storm to make you feel small and a part of your surroundings.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always looking to teach about temperate forest ecology, and looking to learn anything about the natural environment.
As for specifying what I can teach, not quite sure. I can cook (teach you how to roll sushi), play the piano (teach you basic songs), and love being outside (teach you how to identify trees).
