Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I am not able to host anybody because I'm planning to go on a last great adventure before I am going to go to university. But afer I discovered the USA for 4 weeks and got a place of my own, I would love to host some people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
At couchsurfing I am totally new but I heard a lot about it because of my older brother and his great experience in the past with this side.
But in Ireland I experienced something in a similar way when an old and friendly man and his wife let us camp in their garden and permitted us to use their shower an arranged a delicious meal.
I was really impressed by these generous people who never heard of couchsurfing before because they haven't any internet....
Interests
I like to experience the culture of other countries, to have relaxed evenings with some friends and beer and to read or watch movies. I'm into sports like soccer or volleyball. Futhermore I am very active in youth work and take care of a small group of 13 years old boys.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are too many books to name them all but one of my favourites are The Chemistry of Death from simon beckett and Der Schwarm ( The Swarm: A novel of the deep) from Frank Schätzing!
With movies it's quite the same because there a too many great ones. For example Fight Club, Into the Wild, No Country for Old Man, Django Unchained, One Week, The Lord of the Rings or the Bourne Trioligy.
Music is a big part of my everyday life and I hear various genres. Only to name a few: Limp Bizkit, Biffy Clyro, Oasis, Nirvana, Beatsteaks, Madsen, Toten Hosen, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had a great time when I travelled with my family in a caravan through Norway for 3 weeks an saw this wild and beautiful landscape.
Another time I walked with my older brother the West-Higland- Way in Scotland and afterwards the Great Glenn Way. We walked more than 200 kilometers and it was sometimes a really rough time. All in all it was a great adventure and worth it every single pain. So for example we slept one night in a abandoned cottage in the middle of nowhere.
The next year my brother and I walked the South Leinster and Wicklow way in Irland. There we experienced how hospitable the Irish were and it was such a great feeling to see Dublin upon the last mountain after two weeks of hiking.
