About Me
Helllloooo everyone...
My name is Laura, 23 years old, from New-Caledonia, a french speaking island in the South Pacific. You might have never heard of it, most of people have never :p
It's a paradise-like place... tropical forests, fresh water-rivers, white sand beaches, turquoise water, 250.000 inhabitants for not such a small island..
Although New-Caledonia is a beautiful place, I've decided to leave home as soon as I could to discover this wonderful world we live in!
I've started by studying in France and Spain, but quickly realized I needed more ADVENTURES. Since then, I have been cruising through North, Central, South America, Europe, ... and I'm loooooving the crazy travelling lifestyle and enjoying life :D
I'm now sharing most of my travels with my amazing and crazy boyfriend Jack, from Australia, who I've met on the road. We are now back home and feeling the need to leave again, most probably towards NEPAL :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is greattttt! What a nice sharing experience, for both guest and host.
I have more experience as a guest, because I usually don't have a place, but when I was living in Spain, my roomies and I received some guests and it ended up being amazing...
I only had very nice experiences through cs...hiking and climbing in Andalucia, partying in Berlin, going to festivals in Portugal, hitchhiking around Spain, being close friends, sharing our culture, good vibes, positive energy, beautiful people.. CS is just amazing !
It's a nice alternative to the typical hostel experience, (which is still very nice)... but sharing with locals is a very nice opportunity and everyone has something new to teach/share with someone else.
