About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get through life while having as much fun as possible. Also, SCIENCE!

ABOUT ME

I am a 20-year-old university student, and one day I hope to be a high school science teacher. I'm afraid I'm a bit of an introvert, but I like to laugh, and I'm definitely open to new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is often confusing and disappointing, but there's always a bright side if you look hard enough.
Also, science is cool, and there's always time for swings.

Interests

I like biking and ice skating, and I love strolling around a new city or neighbourhood with nothing but my iPod and my camera, but my ideal afternoon is curling up with a good book, TV show, or movie.
I've also recently become interested in board games (especially the nerdy complicated ones), so bring 'em if you've got 'em.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything that sounds good, although I do have a slight preference for rock, soft rock, and pop

Books: A Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Good Omens, and Flowers for Algernon

Television: I'll watch almost anything, but my current favourites are Community, Supernatural, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Adventure Time, and Gravity Falls

Movies: Lord of the Rings, The Avengers

Teach, Learn, Share

Most of my knowledge comes in bits and pieces, so I know a little bit about a lot of things, but the things of which I have extensive knowledge are few and far between. I'm happy to share what I know; a bit of guitar, some ukulele, how to use a hula hoop or do a cartwheel or use Photoshop; and anyone out there willing to drop by and help me fill some gaps is very welcome.
