ABOUT ME

I'm a 22yr old Aussie who is currently travelling around the USA exploring this huge crazy country

I'm always simultaneously excited and petrified!

I've spent the past year working as a Sales Rep and I'm going to be working full time and studying part time this coming year.

I'm someone who wants to go out and explore the world and meet a ton of new people.

I'm 6'1, I read a lot of random stuff, I can play chess pretty well (used to teach), love fantasy football, I enjoy arguing and debating about anything and everything, I love basketball and the NBA, I'm not religious but not opposed to it, I don't drink a lot (well I try not to!), don't smoke, like staying up really late and sleeping in even later, love playing sports (cricket, rugby, basketball) and that's all I can think of from the top of my head!

PHILOSOPHY

Currently I live my life simply to explore and learn. I'm trying to find something that makes me go, "I want to do THAT with my life." Until then I'll be searching and having fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm brand new to CouchSurfing, I just joined a few months ago! I've been travelling in the USA and have had 1 surfing experience which was excellent and now I want to do more and meet more awesome people!

I love sports, reading, video games, podcasts, historical sites, theme parks (who doesn't!) and making new friends!

I'm a huge NBA, NFL and NRL fan, who just generally loves talking about/watching/going to all different sorts of sports and sporting events.

I'm a bit of a nerd at heart who loves video games. Lately I've been really into League of Legends but I'm also a big fan of the Assassin's Creed series, 2K and Madden.

I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd, I love the whole universe JK Rowling created. I love to read in general, anything interesting or exciting, I'm the type of person to lose themselves in a novel and read for 10 hours straight.

I love so many movies I can't list them all: Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Die Hard, the Dark Knight, all the Disney films, Sherlock Holmes, the Marvel superhero movies, James Bond, Lord of the Rings and many others.

I'm not a music nut. I enjoy listing to music and have about 500 songs that I really like on my iphone but I don't know at least half the bands. Red Hot Chili Peppers, ABBA, Coldplay, Elton John, Queen, Good Charlotte, Jet and a bunch of others.

The two most amazing things I've ever seen are both are in Italy. The first is the Duomo in Milan which was amazing, I spent 3 hours just hanging out taking it all in. The second is the Colosseum, which I had really high hopes for and it exceeded them. It's breathtaking.

P.S. The Grand Canyon is pretty freaking amazing.

I can teach people how to: play chess, make a mean chicken salad, dominate at monopoly, waste time on reddit, play cricket, basketball and field hockey, get good at fantasy football, crush at league of legends and make toast properly (vegemite is involved of course!)
