COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

With a great host in St. Petersburg in 2011. Nikolay showed us around and told us all about Russian hospitals, squats in Tel Aviv and the optimum elbow angle to shoot pool.

Interests

Right now I'd like to be on a bike (non-motorised), somewhere hot. With no luggage. Just a T-shirt and a pair of shorts with deep pockets. And a towel, obviously.

Music, Movies, and Books

I was an extra in a couple of films in Paris. And I did some dubbing work in Collywood (Southern India's Bollywood) when I lived there.
I sing in a couple of renaissance music ensembles.
The latest books I've read were Robert Louis Stevenson's The Black Arrow and one of the Flashman series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bucharest train station is a good place to get scarily awestricken (that's a tonguetwister).
This morning on campus a red squirrel ran right in front of me, and stopped. I could heart its claws patter scratchily on the pavement. It's fur looked very soft and cuddlable, its brown eyes were nervous and bright. Not awestriking but quite awesome for an otherwise dull December day. It was delicious.
