About Me

ABOUT ME

Easygoing and adventurous, friendly, open-minded, curious and always eager to learn new, unexpected things and meet more people. Ready to offer you a beer anytime (all the more if it’s in a British pub!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I took a terrific month-long trip over Winter Break and couchsurfed my way to Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Buffalo and Toronto. I met so many different people, all absolutely awesome in their own way, and it was such a wonderful experience in every way that I can't wait to surf again and welcome surfers in my future appartment!

Interests

Three things I enjoy the most: music, cinema and languages. Actually four things, I love eating too :)

Soul music, blues and rock and especially the 60’s and 70’s, going to concerts, stumble upon unexpected/strange/intimist/crazy/surreal places, cinema, languages, improvisation while visiting cities, laughing and making people laugh (intentionally or not), being silly a lot, being smart sometimes, coming up with deep thoughts when I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Janis Joplin, Muddy Waters, Led Zeppelin, Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, The Rolling Stones, Otis Redding, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jacques Brel, salsa music, some French artists and many, many more.
And for movies, it's just impossible to choose. One that has been haunting me for years is '2046', by Wong Kar Wai.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The day I took the bus through New England's forests during fall season. I had never seen such colours before.

The Jardin des Tuileries in December under the snow and the huge Ferris Wheel lit up at night. The concert of Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra I went to that night and the incredible amount of energy spent by each person on stage and in the crowd.

All the times I've entered a pub on a rugby game day in Leicester, UK; the day I saw the team play in the stadium; St Patrick's day which was one of the craziest nights ever...
And pretty much every second I spent in England!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French as it is my native language.
And I'd like to know how to dance salsa and West Coast Swing, and speak Arabic.
