About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making the most of myself and each given day - hopefully leaving this world a little better off than before I arrived.

ABOUT ME

A little quirky, a little random and always have a plan up my sleeve. I decided to quit the rat-race and chase the dream - spend most of my time trying to piece together a few projects. Right now, I am working on a self-help book, detailing about my personal travels and experiences.

Mixed into melting pot a bit of an adventurer, smidgen of playful, a dollop of character, a gallon of mischievousness and loads, loads of smile, and what will you get is ME!

PHILOSOPHY

Love people! Those who have a big enough heart to carry the world will never find themselves alone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to this game but looking to get myself knee deep, meeting and mingling with a diverse range of people.

Would love to show people around when they come to my hood - Sydney - and have hosted a few backpackers (not from CS though). Was referred to this site by a friend and so far, I am hooked!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You meet some of the most interesting people from the most strangest of places. So far, my experience has been great. People for the most part tend to be welcoming, they tend to reflect you and how you treat them.

Interests

People genuinely being themselves! Reading, mingling, meeting new people, you name it! Life is an adventure, do want what you love and love what you do.

Business, self-help, social-entrepreneur projects, volunteering...you name it! Love to bounce ideas with people, putting together a plan and following through with it.

I am always open to new ideas and experiences, some of the things you enjoy the most are things you may not have ever thought of - eg. crab racing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am right now an aspiring author - quit a dead-end boring job to take the gamble and pursue my dreams.

Spent 6 months in Vietnam, tracing my roots and getting to know where my heritage comes from - you see people living their day to day lives in the most simplest ways. Learning to ride a motorcycle in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City - plenty of crazy drivers!

While in Vietnam, I coasted down the mountain with the engine off - it was a refreshing while eerily silent.

I won 2005 NPL State (Texas Hold'em) Poker Championship - $20,000AUD

Teach, Learn, Share

Reading and personal development coaching - I can offer personality profiling and relationship coaching feedback. My strength revolves around people, reading and understanding the dynamics between groups and persons.

Always on the lookout to share my experience and knowledge, while at the same time, having my ears open to new ideas and insights.
