HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ugggggggh! So, I got very involved when I lived in France and even upon returning to the US I made a couple key acquaintances through this site (one of whom is partially the reason I decided to live in Boston!) I was a regular contributor in the Alternative Ways of Living and Consuming forum (I owe a lot to the insightful discussions we have there) but unfortunately Unfortunately my other account is now inactive because my email was hacked and I'm sadly still in the process of rebuilding my profile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first got into couchsurfing while living in Toulouse, France as an au-pair. It helped me meet TONS of people and attend all these events I otherwise never would have heard about. As I mentioned before, I was a huge contributor in the Alt. Ways of Living and Consuming forum and met most of the people who influenced my decision to move to Boston through this website. One of my very favorite people on the planet I met when he couchsurfed into my life last year.

Interests

Holistic living. Swimming (I think I was a mermaid in a former life). I am lifeguard and swim instructor certified and JUST got hired to teach my first swim lessons this summer! I am currently attending two apprenticeships in herbalism as well. AND I LOVE MY DOG!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun rise over water - no matter where, is always the most breathtaking thing for me. Umm... also, some of my happiest moments were singing Sublime on a beach in Rio with a bunch of people who otherwise didn't speak English... swimming at daybreak at a camp in Maine...
