Have had multiple couchsurfers staying in my former collective and also used it when I was travelling through Australia and some parts of Europe. So far I've only had good experiences!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a wonderful way to support something that's otherwise missing in our society (same thing with hitch-hiking). I'm convinced that doing favors and trusting each other, even if we are strangers, will automatically increase the level of solidarity. It's also always a very pleasant surprise to see how most people are very kind-hearted without expecting anything in return.

I'd like to say that I know stuff about permaculture and sustainable living. And I do, in theory. But i haven't practiced it enough to know stuff by heart. So I tend to mostly guess my way through those kind of conversations.
