love to play in the mud; work under the sun; make things with my hands (like paintings, pottery and, most recently, natural houses); get still with a tree; learn from people's stories and let them change me; do what scares me; play; simply appreciate and enjoy life which is both easier and harder than you'd think.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i first surfed for 6 months around europe and most all my experiences were positive if not downright heartwarming. followed that with a trip down the west coast of the united states and met glorious people there! next i fell in love with the world and followed my heart to toronto, lived and hosted there, then hit the road again and am surfing once more!

Interests

touch, breath, grounding and growing light through connection with the earth, love, play, food (the growing, preparing and enjoying of), being pushed and challenged, pain, the brilliant and humbling sensation of feeling another human's energy interact with yours, writing, painting, drawing, barefoot living, hooliganism, folklore and magic, anti-capitalist and intersectional (eco)feminism, the building of homes and communities that respect this lady gaia's fine work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

things that have amazed me:

swimming in a secret, underground hot spring in the north of iceland

the feeling of the sun

how quickly one can fall in love with strangers

how peacefully one can then say goodbye

the ease with which a place can become "home"

Teach, Learn, Share

we can practice talking without human words. i can teach you to dance in a charmingly awkward fashion. i love to sing and harmonize with others even though i get shy about it, so let's first drink wine then sing! a decent cook and an eager helper, i will happily prepare food for you.

i would love to learn more about gardening and growing food. as passionate as i am about the idea of permaculture and farming, my practical skills are rather lacking. all i know is when im gentle with a plant they talk back.
