Home again after 21 months abroad. Starting University in March

ABOUT ME

Easy to get along with, laid back individual. I'm adventurous and like taking risks. I get along and hold a conversation with just about anyone. I am a passionate Bodyboarder and when I'm not expressing myself in the surf I enjoy expressing myself in my art on canvas. I've had the most amazing year in Canada and can't wait to explore Asia!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting new people and have found it great just for that even when I have a place to stay. I've made some great friends through CS and while it would be rare I'll have a place for you to stay, I may be able to recommend somewhere to go, or possibly I can take you for a surf!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is awesome. My Friend Robbie and I Couch surfed from Halifax down through Maine, Boston, NYC, Pennsylvania, Chicago, South Dakota, Jackson, Montana back to Alberta. Met so many cool and interesting people along the way. Besides the free accommodation I'd prefer to couch surf because you get the opportunity to experience what people living in the area love about it so much. Hopefully I can return the favour for some people here in New Zealand.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Django Unchained was amazing. The Godfather was a great book. Killing Rommel also a great read. Like lots of different music but Punk, Rock and anything in between is generally my favourit. I like a wide range of music from NoFX to Hans Zimmerman. Jack White to Edel. I do greatly dislike most pop music though

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. Arriving for the first time seeing guys surfing waves at the base of the cliffs as tall as power poles.
Surfing Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca, Mexico. Amazing waves.
Scuba Diving in the Red Sea in Egypt.
Spending 3 weeks in an unspoilt Indonesian fishing village surfing mind blowing waves of consequence.
First taste of real Powder while doing some back country hiking in the Teton National Park.
Skateboarding down through the Badlands National Park in South Dakota. No one around
