My best friends often tell me that I am a really good friend. I would do anything I can for them, if it is within my power or ability. Except cancel parking tickets! I have a very dry sense of humor, with a tendency towards sarcasm.

I enjoy the occasional company and getting to know people from other places.

Interests

At home, I spend my time reading, watching the birds on my feeders, and working on projects, be they garden, sewing, or house projects, and sometimes map and spreadsheet projects. I enjoy making things, cooking and baking, etc.

I am working on my fitness and health, and ride my bike as much as I am able, mostly for trips under 10 miles. One of my goals is to be able to do some bike touring.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music except punk and death metal, but my favorites are folk, bluegrass, and indie rock, such as Alison Kraus, Arlo Guthrie, and Florence and the Machine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014, I successfully completed a sprint distance triathlon, and it was (amazingly) really fun.

I spend a lot of time knitting and crocheting while hanging out with friends, listening to music, or watching a movie. I am also very familiar with Lawrence and can help you find absolutely anything you want to do while here.
