Interests

Lou - Morning walking with a group of women - we have been together for 30+ years. Computer get a bit of a fixation here sometimes great and sometimes a bore (with farm accounts). Love to meet with friends for coffee or lunch. (Called full time pleasure seekers :)Have just retired from a number of years as Secretary/Treasurer of our local Agricultural & Pastoral Show a huge job! I love travel and have convinced Kev to love it to. We have a son living in Norway so have the need to make an annual visit there to ensure the 3 Grandies don't forget their Grandparents. (don't send your kids overseas, they sometimes don't come back!)
Kevin - he's addicted to farming even though he has retired and I have to find excuses to keep him from working everyday. His other addiction is Photography and carries his camera's around constantly not to miss that precious pic. He is this year President of his local Lions Club and does heaps of voluntary work there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being invited into a woman's birthday party home in rural Syria where everything was very 'closed up' a very special priviledge - we were just walking by
Passing a dance in a hall in Potosi Bolivia and being invited in and where we danced and danced and in the end offered many glasses of 95% proof alcohol to Mama Patchi (they partied too hard for us:)
Staying at a University in Beijing and learning about China 'firsthand'
because we have mostly backpacked (we did our first trip upmarket and didn't meet the people only fellow travellers staying at our level) and we have enjoyed our travelling better and I think been 'appreciated' more by the people - a white haired man who stays in a corrugated shed :)
