PHILOSOPHY

Kaizen, kaizen, always be learning, routine is important, if we can fix something that's broken, we should.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed and hosted, had ultimately good experiences with the couchsurfing.org community. The expectation of living alone is an impediment to pur creative processes / ability for transitioning to a sustainable way and in that expectation there's still a very broken group of people within the couchsurfing.org community. We're not building something.

I'm increasingly more active as I've more opportunity to both host surfers and surf., while I search and search for the people who will enable this movement and business. I've been fortunate to participate in hosting three times now this year and followed leads to two intentional communities from friends on this website.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had many couchsurfing experiences, though some things I've really appreciated are the exchange of gifts upon going separate ways, a book, a guitar, a story, a found ring, a meditation cushion, whatever benefits who, at the time, or when people I've hosted have some sort of business in town that they can show me something fun to do, or share with me some way of life such as cleaning and cooking dumpster food, or going to a show relative to their conference. I sort of see this community like playing frisbee with people and ideas, re-enforcing the concept of how much it's really our opportunity to live together as opposed to the thought of a chore that so many seem exhausted of. I'm always appreciative after the event of how healing the exchange was in that stay's own individual way.

Interests

I like to organize other peoples and my own non-profit or for profit, business and movement ideas into readable plans and brainstorm ways of really making our ambition true. I've been traveling a lot and look forward to when I find my ground in one place surrounded by other people as dedicated and enthusiastic as me that I can believe pacing between stands and strings that hang thoughts from the cieling, as we work and plan, that together we really will follow through. "Without the strength of an enlivened mind, we become passive observers to our own lives." -Marrianne Williamson Let's really make a better world together. The next step towards our shifting in the direction of our ideals is for us each to define the ideals for ourselves and have conviction in making the sacrifice mecessary to get there and and then in the end my plan outlines what's necessary. There're lots of books to read that together form a pretty strait forward guide, given our own lifetime experiences of pursuing sustainability and a well perspective. I believe in giving life all the effort you can within reason. Keep your peoples heads up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Answered the peoples questions about the candidate for a presidential campeign (showed up in person to make life real), medicine tribe gatherings, tinyhouse festival, years on streets around the country, wrote a book, funded travel with event work before i understood the world, gave gifts, returned home to reconnect / co-exist with the people i was born to (amazing), lived two years inside my church. Hung my legs off the coastal bluffs while the fog rolled in over my shoulders.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll encourage you to always achieve your bests and hope you wish me my best as well. I'll share my experience and all I've read with you, for me, that's really all I have. I honestly haven't ever held onto much for long, I'm always passing things on and having to replenish my stashes in every new place I go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Freedom, and opening the curtains, conversation, there's a few places to adventure I like books and wellness. Am 420 friendly. Will show respect and hope for the same. Anti-cliche. Stay classy. Now is time for a new renaissance. Let's be closer.
