Trying to take trips whenever I can in between work. Travelled around the world in 2013. I travel whenever I can. I love to get involved with the locals :)

I like a bit of everything, and I'm always willing to try something new. I fell in love with travel on my first night in Vietnam two and a half years ago and have been trying to get as much time as possible to travel since then.
I'm pretty chilled and always ready to have a good time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a few people in Sydney and made a few couchsurfing friends before starting my big overseas trip. Stayed with a couchsurfer in Sweden (who I met in Sydney), and stayed on some friends' couches in Copenhagen and Zürich.
Also hosted a bunch of couchsurfers in Kota Kinabalu, Borneo, Malaysia :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It wasn't couchsurfing, but in Salta, Argentina I grouped up with a Spanish, an English, and a German guy and a Brazilian girl who I'd met the night before and we hired a car and went road-tripping through Northern Argentina. Was a great way to see some sites I wouldn't have otherwise seen with great company.

I went to Roskilde Festival with a Danish friend that I met scuba diving in Australia - awesome!

My first couch surfing experience was in Vienna and it was like meeting a long lost best friend.
Stayed with some other travellers in Sweden and Germany.

Now I'm learning kitesurfing.
Practicing my surfing, which I'm not so great at.
Music and music festivals.
Adventury stuff.
Skiing.

Chillaxing by the beach with a few drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch a lot of movies and listen to a lot of music.
Music - electronic, rock, hip-hop, and basically everything else.
Movies - anything that isn't painfully corny. Intelligent artsy movies. Guilty pleasures. Stuff that makes me laugh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding down the Death Road in Bolivia was a highlight. Really exhilarating and beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best skill I can teach you is how to deal with traveller's diarrhoea.
Can also teach you to cook a few decent meals.
Not sure what else I can teach you - basic surfing?

And I'm improving my Spanish.
