About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Europe by storm! I've just recieved my British passport (thanks mum!) and plan on settling in an EU city. Trying to decide where...
ABOUT ME
Funny, positive, and warm. Also appreciative!
Once we get over that awkward, "I don't know you phase," you'll love me. Guaranteed, or your money back!
I am not here to take advantage of free arrangements. Let me be helpful. I'll do your dishes, help pay for groceries, and/or buy you dinner.
PHILOSOPHY
It's time for a new chapter in my life. The door is wide open, and rather than stay inside or just test the waters, I am looking to jump right in!
New experiences can be scary, but us humans are amazing and resilient. We usually succeed when we test ourselves. When we willingly experience something new, we tend look back and are glad that we did it.
Live dangerously. Stay wild. What's the worst that can happen? (All within reason)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Over a year ago, couch-surfing seemed to be the most exciting and affordable way to experience different cities in the EU.
I hope my brief time with hosts leaves them enriched as well. I will be a grateful guest, eager to share my own experience and stories as well as help out in any way that I can! Maybe I will even see some familiar smiles on my own couch down the road...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The bit of hosting I did was great. I made a really close friend and other surfers have helped me out now that I'm traveling myself.
Since, my hosts have ranged from great to amazing.
Interests
The future. experiencing new places, people, cultures, and activities. Learning. Reading. Music.
On this trip I'm interested in meeting people more than anything else. A potluck or party where I'd have the chance to meet and get to know a bunch of new people is how I'd most like to spend my time. Sightseeing can wait. Those buildings aren't moving anytime soon.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love documentary films and non-fiction books most of all. I am fascinated with how people relate to each other and the world that confronts them. I value learning about and either trying to understand or being able to relate to their experiences. Hoop Dreams is my favorite film.
Music has always been vital in my life. Some favorites: Failure, Cave In, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, STP, Talk Show, Shiner, Jane's Addiction, The Police, Year of the Rabbit, My Vitriol, Rush, A Perfect Circle, Soundgarden, Hum, Alice in Chains, QOTSA, Steel Panther, Smile, Respond, Minus the Bear (old) ,The Beatles, Failure...
Simultaneously dissonant and melodic guitar based rock with pop arrangements is my favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm about to do it on this trip. I'm going to leave home to ultimately settle in a city that I've never been to, and know next to nothing about.
Teach, Learn, Share
I suppose I can share what I've learned so far in my travels. That is probably most useful. Where to go, what to eat, who to meet, etc.
I want to make your time hosting me one that you can hopefully both appreciate and enjoy.
