ABOUT ME

Currently, I am a clinical psychology doctoral student. I'm on CS because I feel it is a great outlet for expanding one's positive experiences, which I believe to be an important aspect to living life to the fullest. A consistant goal of mine is to try new things and to be open minded. To expand on personality, I would say I'm easy-going, calm but eager to have a good time, and outgoing.

I really enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures, which is my driving force in participating in CS.

Interests

My interests/hobbies include clinical psychology research, making computer-based music, rock climbing, reading, snowboarding, traveling, hiking, yoga, painting, drinking tea, and cultivating friendships.

Furthermore, I am interested in holistic health. I want my profession to be in mental health, yet I strive to incorporate every facet of good health into my life.

Oh... and eating good food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music; however, my favorite genres are independent hip hop and electronic. I am currently reading the works of Japanese fiction writer Haruki Murakami, phrase books for various countries, and I'm always reading psychology research articles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I was involved with was helping raise money and design a world-class skatepark to be built in my home town. It is a small town in Nederland, Colorado and with several years of work from passionate community members, there is now an amazing skate park for generations of skateboarders to use.

One of the most amazing things I've seen is a sea of flowing clouds below me at sunrise in the Huangshan mountains of China.
