About Me

CURRENT MISSION

currently dipping my toes in the world of dance. hoping the water's warm :}

ABOUT ME

[I'd hope] that my best friends would say that I am generous, outgoing, and loyal person. I may take a little time to open up, but once I'm feeling warm and comfortable, nothing would get in the way of us enjoying our company. I also feel more comfortable when the other person is comfortable. Chivalry is not dead my friends :)

Interests

I am an extrovert at heart that loves to explore his surroundings. I love to spend my time people watching [when i have the time] while listening to music. My interests include but are not limited to taking care of animals [i've had an assortment of pets growing up but now just own a small chunky dwart hamster called Chucky], watching a great movie anywhere while snacking, food! love to eat, love to taste, and when the time and place is appropriate - a good drink. I am currently in my senior [4th] year of Dance studies at The Juilliard School in New York. So you can definitely say that I revel in
anything that involves dance. With that being said, I am not oblivious to the other performing arts and have a deep admiratioin for the Opera, Drama/Theater, and Visual Arts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having the opportunity to watch my older sister give birth to my neice left me amazed. As a dancer, I am fascinated with the way our bodies move in space and time. Our ability to create movement with this magnificant instrument is extraordinary.
Aside from the screaming and the presence of blood while my sister was in labor, I saw her body create a dance, a raindance for the summer rain or for the full moon to bless her in the night. Hers was just as pure and effective, resulting in the tender birth of a gentle giant.

My second moment that left me awestruck was my acceptance to The Juilliard School in New York. Having started my studies significantly later in life than the majority of my peers, I've always felt behind or that the neverending self-judgement that I was not good enough. While in high school, I auditioned a first try and was ultimately rejected. But I gathered up the courage to audition again and was accepted the second time around. I was one of twelve males accepted, in a class of twenty-four, out of thousands of applicants, for the class of 2013. Now, after three wonderfully arduous and giving years, I am in my last year and preparing to tackle the world of dance and hopefully create art with people that love it just as much or more than me. I look forward to it.
