Enjoy life, travel as much as possible, meeting new people, learning from other cultures and not wasting any of my precious time ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Do the stuff you like. Is it something you don't like, just stop, life is too short to be doing stuff you don't like. My granddad said to me: 'I don't regret the things I've did in my life, but I regret the things I didn't do'. I hope I will listen to him, and will have no regrets when I get older.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I go to another country, I really want to get to know the locals. When you stay in a hostel, the chance of locals is very small. I hope that couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to get to know the 'real' inhabitants of the country I'm visiting.

If you give me a place to stay the night, you are more than welcome to visit Borgloon (Belgium), also called 'the Florence of Belgium'! I will be your personal guide :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to this, so it is my first ever couchsurfing experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Latest book I've read is 'On the road' by Jack Kerouac. A real page turner. I could recommend it to everyone!
I love all kinds of music: Foo Fighters, Editors, Black Keys, Bloc party...
But also a lot of singer songwriters: Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, Eddie Vedder... And of course the classics: Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Bob Dylan...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will never forget my trip to Scotland with my brother and friends. We walked along the West Highland Way, slept in tents, didn't shower, laughed a lot and saw amazing things for 2 weeks.
