ABOUT ME

My name is Emanuele and I work as artist. I have my own studio where I paint, make illustrations and craft things. Most likely after a long time spent abroad here and there I found my dimension in the city of Reggio Emilia where I root peacefully when it is time to create. It is a place quite different from bigger cities like Milan and Rome but it has a very good welcoming feeling, probably related to food at first. I have spent a lot of time studying "different" things or not really ordinary I guess as macrobiotics, yoga, meditation and alikes but I just am earthly and very simple in my thoughts. Somehow I guess all of that found its space in my life. Beside this well, I have a very old bike my neighbour gave me and I use it to chill making very slow long tours in the countryside. I am now in Italy, stable, from about a year. No idea if I'll move, but if I am around the door is widely open for You.

- HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been able to find a room, a couch, a space a something where to sleep and enjoy some memorable moments all along my experiences to many people and hosted gipsies, nomads, cycling teams, singers, jewelers, students, secret agents, musicians, photographers, readers, alchemists, fluffers various scavengers and random humanity.

The best I can do for them I do it.

- COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surf and am surfed. What is mostly important to me is that from about many years some of my best friends are around the world sharing the purpose of this project.

Intereses

Art, so any kind, breathing even. Radio. But that is inside arts to me. Chinese medicine. Now I'm into some very experimental cooking. Listening. Making stuff. Making stuff is generic I know. Making projects of different nature. Ok? Writing-reading-turning pages. Pro activist learning.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I saw a parrot opening a bottle of beer. In three days I changed four houses in Las Vegas and have been invited to use an empty apartment with swimming pool and gym (plus I had also a car to go around). I've been completely swimming-pool baptized in London by the sect of my ex japanese stylist in her japanese-christian church. Then, well, I made some odd stuff.
I suggested myself as photographer to a magazine without even a camera and one week later I was flying to Spain with a camera in my hands. I did a video invited by a curator of the most important contemporary art fair in the world without knowing shit how to do it. But well. I did it! And ya, this... is what I do, I make stuff. And this is what I can write here.
