About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet a new person every day.

ABOUT ME

I believe the strongest person in the world is the person who can accept what comes to them in all shapes and sizes. The one who can open their arms as wide as they stretch in every direction and say "I'm big enough. I'm strong enough. You think I can't handle it? Bring it on."

PHILOSOPHY

The art of travel is to deviate from one's plans.

An open mind and an open schedule.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few times but mostly I've surfed couches across the country and the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered Couchsurfing a few years ago and used it while traveling around Europe and the US. Then I sort of forgot about it for a while. But now I'm living in Korea and looking for fellow travelers to go out with. I love Seoul!!

Interests

I like a good movie. I love a good book. I'll kill for a good beer. (It's so hard to find in Korea. If you know of somewhere with good beer on draft let me know and I'll meet you there in a heartbeat.)

I also think biking is the best way to discover a place you don't know

  • arts
  • books
  • beer

  • cycling

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I'm reading some short stories by Richard Matheson and struggling through the 3rd Game of Throne book. (They're so good but so long.)

I can listen to virtually any type of music and enjoy it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have friends that I love in all corners of the world. I think that's relatively amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can solve a rubick's cube in under 2 minutes

Countries I’ve Visited
