About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Writing (fiction).
Creating a queer protective space around me.

ABOUT ME

I am very tall so I am always in danger to accidentally knock against door frames. If I can avoid that, I am really in a good mood. I am not religious but I don't mind religious people as long as they don't try to evangelize me. I like to cook but I need time for it. I like to play and gamble but I know when to quit. I drink alcohol but only in company and when in good mood. I don't smoke. I am gay. I always lose in Backgammon. I have a capacity for languages, so you can communicate me if you speak German, French, Portuguese, Turkish or English. I prefer small groups of people so it's easier for me to focus on an individual. I am not afraid of controversy. I am a fully trained journalist but I am becoming a teacher now, too. I believe that respect for each other is the most important thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel, I host if possible and I try not to prejudge people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have made several travels doing Couchsurfing now. I am very happy about it because this allowed me to meet a lot of nice people. Also, it's a process of continuous development forcing you to adapt again and again. But still, you find similarities where you would never have believed to find any. And it is incredible how eager people are to host you even if you have to ask them the last-minute. Imagine this twenty years ago. What an amazing project!

Interests

My greatest passion is writing because it is a way of expressing myself which works best for me.
Also, I really like to learn new languages. Whenever I meet someone who comes from somewhere else, I ask curiously, "What does that mean in your language?"
I learned playing the piano for a few months... and still enjoy listening to it.
When it comes to sports, I like to participate but have to admit that I'm a bit lazy at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to my friends' wedding on the French seaside near Fréjus. The wedding took place at sunrise on the longest day of the year. Bride and groom sang Bulgarian mystical chants while the sun was rising over the mediterranean sea. It was also my first wedding.

Teach, Learn, Share
