ABOUT ME
I live alone on land I bought in 1987 when I was 25 as raw land, I hacked a farm out of the wilderness. I have hundred mile views with complete privacy that hundreds of millions have seen, I have had film crews from all over the world come to my front yard to film me.

I'm a big, friendly, outgoing, nice guy. I'm very entertaining and knowledgeable about the area I live in. I love humans and I love Yosemite. It's my honor to be able to help whomever I can, experience Yosemite.
I was born in the barrios of East Los Angeles. It was my dream to live in the mountains, I came to live and work in Yosemite when I was 22 in 1985. I married into the Yosemite Indian Tribe and have two Yosemite Indian children. I worked and lived in Yosemite from 1985 to 1994 My children both work there and are making their careers working in Yosemite.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am only able to host when everything lines up. Since I have become so famous there is just way too many requests to keep up with. If you are interested in surfing with me you must read my profile carefully and follow the leads I give you, there is a test at the end. There is no point in sending me a request if you do not read my profile and follow the leads I give you.
I mostly only host long term volunteers on my farm but when I have a farm volunteer here I will with scheduling host Surfers, 2 days minimum and who come by car so they can take me and my volunteer around the park.

Couchsurfing is not about a free place to sleep but about connecting to like minded humans, it can't be done on an overnighter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted 100's of people, (not everybody leaves references), I don't do much surfing myself so I am very selective as to who I host as the CS community has grown so much. If you read my references you'll see I have given enormously to this community and have asked for very little in return.

Intereses

Photography, videography, computer art, martial arts, Spirituality. Saving the planet for humanity. Communal living, alternative energy, self sustainability, gardening, growing your own food and cooking it, living off the grid are my goals.

I fought professionally in the Cage, No Holds Barred against a giant who was much more experienced than me. I flew in helicopters to fight fires. I did the Tyrolean traverse in Yosemite while being suspended over 1,000 feet in the air by Yosemite Falls. I lived in Yosemite Valley for several years. I have become a meme. Now when ever anybody in the world sees a rainbow, they think of me, they say my words. I have forever affected humanity's consciousness.
