****I've just returned to c/s after a few years away as I didn't have space to host in my old apartment. However, I've noticed a sharp decline in the messages I've been receiving. All generic messages and seemingly spammed at everyone in the city. Met some incredible people on here, hosted some too. The people that you meet through couch surfing are, in my limited experience, different from the norm - in the best possible way! Inquisitive, adventurous and always up for a good time. Go Couch Surfing! Met a lot of great people travelling in Japan. Keen to travel again to meet more surfers, genuinely awesome, creative people every time!
