About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel to places that scare, amuse and intrigue me

ABOUT ME

Ex-advertising guy now trying to set up his lifestyle empire. Originally from Singapore but have studied and worked in the US for 5 years.

Friendly, laid back and easy going. A naturally curious person, I'm always looking to learn something new and to discover more about this world we live in.

I love to meet new friends and discover what makes them tick. I have traveled alot in the past and am inching to do even more once I have more free time.

I'm a natural risk taker so am always up for an adventure.

Let's connect.

PHILOSOPHY

There are no strangers, just friends you haven't met.

Movies where people talk too much, especially in a language I don't understand. Good conversations. Theatre. Arts. Great local food.

Interested in getting involved in microfinance and other socially conscious finance projects. Am a member of Kiva and hoping to help out in such organizations when I have the chance.

Love to cook and have a great appreciation for wine and am planning to be in the wine trade.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh too many to list! Most films by Richard Linklater, Wim Wender, Wong Kar Wai.... many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Brasil was beautiful, the landscape and the people. Rio was a real highlight.

Machu Piccu was pretty intense. Don't wimp out and take the train and bus directly there - take the hike! Trust me, it's worth it.

India, Kashmir and Pakistan were awesome and very interesting. Sleeping under the stars next to the camels in the Thar desert was such a beautiful experience.

Lived in the US for the past 5 years and have travelled domestically extensively. Loved Santa Fe, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland (oh the food there.... ohhhhhh).

But my heart remains in Iceland. One of the truly amazing places I have been.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk for hours about film, the arts, weird cultural idiosyncracies in different countries.

Try me. :)
