ABOUT ME

I was born in California but my father is Armenian so I live in both parts of the world and about 5 times a year I change my location for work and creative inspiraion. I moved back to CA to start docuthesis.com (we make knowledge sexy or transform research into short form documentary). I also run DocuStory.tv which is the voice of the entrepreneur we make short documentaries for companies to tell their story to the world. (Okay I have to stop this is sounding like an ad sorry I am just really passionate about allot of stuff and these are 2 of my favorites). I had a radio show in Yerevan, Armenia of downtempo and soulful house. In 2004/06 I directed and produced 2 feature length documentaries and released them into indi cinemas in California, Australia, and New Zealand. I have also worked as a co director and chief editor for television. During this time of my life I was invited as an artist in residence at 7 Degrees in Laguna Beach California. But of all these things I currently am known throughout the world as Armenia's first professional female DJ. I finished a year of working as a personal chef on private yachts and have taken the money saved to invest into Docuthesis.com and DocuStory.tv

But really at the end of the day A stands for Adventure and Amber I think thats why my parents choose that letter. xoxo

PHILOSOPHY

Do what feels right in your heart and mind. Embrace mistakes in your art, work, and life. Dream as much as you can. Try to laugh at least once a day. Eat the chocolate cake and don't talk about the calories crazy people. Listen to your 6th sense and follow it or run if that is what it tells you. Stay true to your values, know your values and morals. Know what is going on around you. Keep your mind open. When people get bored and ask you how old you are say 21 even if your 90. Stay modest. Tell the truth. Never stop learning. Be green go to the library and check out books and movies and music. Family and friends always come before work. Do what you are passionate about and understand that if you make little money doing it their are other forms of payment. Money is the exchange of energy. The list goes on so lets meet up...

I have promoting this website to other people as I meet great families and people who love to learn from the peole of the world. Also any help I can give to people in terms of knowledge is always a favorite of mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I knew this website existed I used to take buses and trains around the Caucasus and Europe to meet people and have them invite me into their worlds. Carrying 2 ton turntables with the 4 channel mixer in a coffin flight case and a skateboard always made conversation easy. Now couchsurfing is my way to understand what is really happening around the world in addition to what I read in the news and in history, culture, and art books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled to Australia, Georgia, Armenia, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Turkey, Bulgaria, Spain, Hawii and creatively traveled and worked thus fully tasting the culture and learning about the world. Really there are to many things to write so if you let me stay on your couch we can talk because I like speaking not typing.
