I've been trying to settle down for awhile now but it's not working. Strangely, time seems to move faster when you are standing still.

I'm just about to finish a writing/coding degree online from Athabasca and a PSW course from Cornerstone here in Guelph. Took it to help my wife understand the vocab, wow what an eye opener this has been.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used this thing to meet people every time I landed somewhere new. Its been awhile since I've ventured outside Canada, although my wife and I plan on seeing some more of Japan, The Phillipines and possibly Estonia this year.

Interests

I used to break dance and go out all night but times have changed and now I prefer staying indoors with my wife and playing in VR or pulling out the board games and magic cards. At one point I twisted balloons and was doing alright with that but lately I've had carpal tunnel set in. Teaching English is still my jam, if you're interested in learning about that or getting a job in it or whatever, I'll be happy to sit down and talk with you about it or maybe teach you some things.

I guess I'm getting old because all the new stuff looks and sounds like junk to me. :D

I like anything from the 80's including movies, television and music. Select 90's stuff and just a bit from the recent 00's and 10's. Still a KPOP fan, once in awhile they put out something half decent. I like VR stuff, I have a PSVR console and will be buying a VIVE shortly. I play League Of Legends once in awhile with another old guy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw 2 UFO's up close one night in Toluca, Mexico. That was life changing. If you are wondering, they were townhouse sized green and red neon balls with a strange light show inside. They were close enough to send me running in the other direction after I realized what I was looking at.
