ABOUT ME

I moved to Long Island in New York when I was 18 and worked for two years as a nanny. Spent six months in WA going to school and then moved to Hawaii to attend the University of Hawaii for an Anthropology degree. I took a year off to live in Switzerland where I worked as an aupair and tried to improve my French. Just graduated from Hawaii and now attend East Carolina University for a grad degree in Maritime Archaeology. I've started a family and it is awesome. Baby Bennett joined us March 2010.

The less formal stuff???? I love to skinny dip. I break rules, sorry I mean social expectations, all the time. I LOVE LEARNING. And trying new things. I really enjoy meeting new people. I love chocolate. More than anything, seriously. But I try to limit my intake. I am scrawny (even with all the chocolate) and have a high metabolism. I hate people who lie and because of this have always been extremely open!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a balancing act. Too much of anything can throw you off. Including church. Or vegetables.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Germany and Denmark with my older brother!! I also met my dear friend SAM on this site!! She rocks! I haven't surfed much since coming stateside :(

Interests

I love rock climbing, basketball, snowboarding, soccer and recently took up scuba diving. I also love to dance and read.

My family comes first! This is followed by learning as many new things as I can!

I can teach piano lessons, clarinet lessons, ASL lessons, and Archaeology basics.
