À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Developing more insight, being in love with life, doing my bit.

ABOUT ME

Movements; Born in malta, lived in germany, moved to UK... lived in hampshire till 16, moved to wales, then manchester, then london, then barcelona, then london.. Work; Database programming, Electronic-techno-d/b band, record label and record distribution company, fashion distribution company, then fashion and advertising, then marketing outdoor music events, reggae festival, clubs, and arts festival, then business developemnt and arts sponsorship consultant. Personality; (REF people I enjoy) I love hearing about new things, I love talking about new things, I love seeing new things, I love creating new things. Can i come up with something that captures the essence in one line.. probably not, its so much easier when doing it for something or someone else, but i know that now, so i can change that now :)(parodox; When the nature of something is truly understood, does it cease to exist in that experiantial form, objective perception begets actual change).. DOES INSIGHT AFFECT CHANGE?, absolutely, i would not have written this and you would not be reading it :)

PHILOSOPHY

Just when we thought it was coming to an end, it had only just begun...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

NOT USING CS but offline networks.. Notable Highlights: AMSTERDAM for well needed break whilst staying in a hotel in centre, but at the same time remote from the rhythm of the city and real interactions with the people who lived there, fortune smiled and I met Jaan der Oden, a journalist and spent many happy nights listening to him and his flatmates on their guitars at his flat overlooking the Keizersgracht, the mist over the canal in the early morning was amazing. MUNICH; through stroke of luck bumped into a chap called Christian, no other than the head technical project manager for Siemans bavarian head office devleopment which was a very large building site at the time. After a short trot we got to the site and using an outdoor elevator he took me to the top of the tallest building on the site(but dont tell them that, a bit scary, but SAFE) once above the rest of the landscape he preceded on giving me a technical rundown of the most recently developed buildings around Munich, which of course we could see from up there; including the issues surrounding the roof of the stadium which was still in development at the time. I also learnt about the social architecture and work/live policies of Munich's local goverment, which was right next door. Spent beautiful evening with him and 2 extraordinarily bondesque female architects in japanese restaurant that served, what seemed like, every bavarian beer. Most of which i had to taste (for purely research, historical and cultural reasons) the night ended on singing to traditional bavarian music, excellent!!!. BARCELONA on a two night stay with a friend of a friend, spent beautiful evenings in one of their SECRET plazas watching the locals go by and on occasion getting involved in some very latin body language and banter with the local fashionistas, initially nerve racking, extremely extrovert, but then all fun. GLASGOW crashed on a couch at a gallery's live in flat, spent many evenings at traditional glasgwegian pubs, listening to live folk and acoustic music, which incidentally in some cases you were almost obliged to sing along, even if you did not know the words lol. Spent days meeting glasgwegian isssue based artists and getting my hands dirty - & it doesn't really get much better than that!!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

See Below.. & watching global warming and sustainable development issues slowly making there way up the media, corporate and goverment agenda, even if prompted by incontrovertible enviromental proof of an impending disaster, and the fear of a wave of unmanageable immigration on the tail of a holocaust. PLUS: Being On stage with Wyclef and Kymani Marley in front of 25,000 people.. Having my first spiritual experiences - moments of clarity which have given me the faith to know (not just to believe) Falling in love (even if not completely reciprocated - a managable pain), enjoying a sunrise with 50,000 people. .. and other stuff i'm not sure is 100% appropriate to divulge in this environment..
