About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Can't stop won't stop... still traveling!

ABOUT ME

i consider myself to be a non-stop balancing act. I can be serious, silly, smart, or deep. When i am with a group of people i tend to fill in the gaps... if everyone is talking at once - i listen. if there is an akward silence, i will speak. If someone isn't having a good time, i try to make them enjoy the moment. Right now, however, I am trying to figure out what I need.

PHILOSOPHY

It's easier to get forgiveness than permission. - Dare yourself to go farther. - Today is your life, if you aren't awake and present and focusing on everything around you, you will miss it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been wandering abroad the last 7 years. I have racked up enough hospitality debt to host the entire population of Andorra at my home in the future when I find a place to settle for a while. Whether that be in Portland, DC or el DF, I'm not yet sure, but all will be welcome!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far meet ups, social events, and one fateful stay in Brussels with the best host duo I could ever ask for! FACT: I got my current job from a chance meeting at a couchsurfing event.

Interests

hiking, beaches, fresh air, non-convential job situations, traveling without an agenda, pushing myself to live more vibrantly; vices: caffeine and alcohol, preferably a combination of the two

Music, Movies, and Books

eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Igby goes down, Man on Fire, 7 pounds
favorite book: 11 minutes
favorite music: not so much a fan of superlatives - i say yes to music in general

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I mountain biked down a sandy road in the middle of the Atacama in northern chile with a friend, and went sandboarding out on giant sand dunes for the day - and felt like we were the only people in the world. My camera was stolen 2 days later, so you're going to have to believe me on this one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a true product of a liberal arts education and the school of travel. I know a little about a lot - and am trying to multiply my knowledge of online marketing pursuing a Masters Degree here in Barcelona to continue my goal of working in the tourism industry.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, France, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Spain, Turkey, United States
