ABOUT ME

I'm at a stage of life (well, today anyway) of enjoying community. The estate we live in is fairly well separated from the rest of the city geographically giving us great opportunity to live life with those around us. I like that our neighbours are our friends.

I love God, my wife and my writing bureau. I like to read and take things easy. I'm not an excitable person. I don't understand the appeal of music. I don't like conflict. Whatever hospitality I learnt, it was from my Mum.

I work for an Oxford based charity heading up their Communications and Development side of things. I like writing.

I'm quite simple in many ways. I like cake. And tea. And making you laugh.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Originally joined Hospitality club before finding this beauty. Have stayed with folks in Germany, and have had my fair share of folks stay with me on the North coast of Ireland and at my parents home as well. Have hosted a few meetings, and became an ambassador (oooooh) at one point too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first used Hospitality Club in Germany - 3 great hosts and it was a wonderful experience.

Since then I've got on board with CS and hosted a fair bit, organised different things and whatnot
